Event Details

This is a workshop for young people and adults to work together on a project (or two able young people. There is a lot to do in 4 hours, you will be working together to complete the task. Only sign-up for this workshop if you have a good concentration span, not recommended for young children. Seeing and building an acoustic levitator will involve the following steps: Using an oscilloscope to mark the polarity of the transducers (ultrasound emitters).

Hot glue the transducers into the 3D-printed base. Wrap wire around the transducers contacts and solder them. Solder wires into the transducers contacts. Hot glue an Arduino and a Motor driver into a plastic sheet. Solder the DC barrel and power switch. Wire the Arduino, Driver and power switch. Switch on and put samples inside the levitator. Select one space for two people.
