1. Read ALL workshop info:

Please read ALL THE INFORMATION relating to each workshop and ensure the criteria is right for you or your child? If you need help downloading software please go to the help desk in the main room, AT LEAST 15 MINUTES before your workshop is due to start.

2. Check times / Register responsibly!

If you book on more than one workshop make sure the times of these workshops don’t clash – you can’t be in 2 places at once! PLEASE DO NOT RANDOMLY REGISTER for a number of workshops – we have limited spaces and you could deprive someone an opportunity to register.

3. Accompanying adults:

There is no need for accompanying adults to register a place in the workshops. You are very welcome to stay close by (chairs and sofas can be provided on request)  Unless you want to actually take part in the workshop, PLEASE DON’T BOOK A PLACE. Just come and watch/support/help :-). Please take note of the “We the Curious” policy – All children under the age of 13 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

4. Equipment loan:

We have a limited number of laptops to loan on the day. We CANNOT guarantee availability as Laptops are loaned on a first come first served basis. See details of each event to reserve yours.

Digimakers is a free event, however, some workshops ask for a donation to cover the cost of  components. You can pay at the event or online here Recommended donation for the overall event is £8.00.

5. Need help?

Go to the help desk located in the main room, helpers there will be able to assist you if you need to download software for a workshop. If you are working on a project at home and  you would like some one-to- one support please sign-up for an hour session with one of the Digi team.

6. Talk to experts:

In our show-and-tell section you will find some awesome projects for you to learn about.

7. Workshop sold out?

If the workshop you would like to attend has ‘No more spots left!’ it may be worth coming along anyway, people often drop-out at the last minute and spaces do become available. Also see POINT 10 below!

8. Will lunch be provided on the day?

As this is a free event we do not provide lunch for participants. Please be aware that there is no café at The Trinity Centre, so please bring food and drink with you. There are many options for lunch in Cabot Circus, Bristol’s main shopping quarter, 10 minutes’ walk away from The Trinity Centre. It is advisable to bring water with you because there isn’t a water fountain at the venue. You are of course welcome to bring a packed lunch with you, but note that we cannot provide any plates and cutlery. You are welcome to eat your packed lunch in the break out space at the venue. We do ask participants not to consume drinks near the electrical equipment in the workshop areas.

9. What if I make a mistake with my workshop registration or I Can’t make it?

  1. Locate the workshop below you have already registered for.
  2. Click on the “EDIT MY REGISTRATION” button and follow the instructions…. Thats it!

10. Periodically check in on this page and reload / refresh it!

A) During the registration period people will sometimes edit their registration details, as there are often registration mistakes and cancellations.  New spaces for workshops will then be made available!
